Silver Spring Warriors Youth Lacrosse has been a mainstay of youth lacrosse in Silver Spring/Burtonsville, Maryland since 2001.

We are currently a member of Burtonsville Athletic Association (BAA), fielding teams in the U6 Scoopers, U8 Bantams, U10 PeeWees, U12 Midgets, and U14 Juniors age groups.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Starting in the Spring 2025 season, Silver Spring will field MULTIPLE teams at U8, U10, U12 and U14 age groups in the exciting new Montgomery County Sixes (MoCo Sixes) Youth Lacrosse League! MoCo Sixes is a new recreational lacrosse league that promises to bring fresh opportunities and a fantastic experience for our players and families.

Here are some key highlights of the new league:

• All MoCo Sixes games will be played at The Heights School (10400 Seven Locks Rd, Potomac, MD 20854) - Turf Field.

• Games will take place on Sundays, providing a convenient and predictable schedule for our families.

• MoCo Sixes follows the dynamic and fast-paced "Sixes" format, which will be the focal point of Lacrosse competition in the 2028 US Olympic Games. 

• Team rosters are limited to 12-14 players to ensure maximum game play experience.

• No playing experience is required!

• Tentative 2025 Spring Schedule 

  • Sun 3/23. Preseason “Ice Breaker” 

  • Sun 3/30. League Play 

  • Sun 4/06. League Play

  • Sun 4/13. League Play

  • Sun 4/20. No Games (Easter Weekend)

  • Sun 4/27. League Play

  • Sun 5/04. League Play

  • Sun 5/11. Championship/Consolation Weekend

We are confident that this change will greatly benefit our players by enhancing their development and overall lacrosse experience. We can't wait to see our teams thrive in this new, dynamic setting!
